Inspect the proposed drainage area
We review soil, slope, surface flow, downspouts, and access so the garden receives water from a workable source.
Rain gardens can guide runoff into planted soil and support better drainage. Our Landscape Architect Company plans each installation around your property's slope, soil, and drainage.
A planned basin gives runoff a defined place to enter and soak through planted soil.
The planting layout connects water control with the look and use of the surrounding yard.
A site-fit plan helps you avoid placing moisture-sensitive plants in a wet drainage zone.
Rain Garden Installation is a site-planning and construction service that directs runoff into a planted soil basin.

Rain Garden Installation starts with a question of fit. The proposed area needs to receive runoff, hold planted soil, and release water without creating a new problem. We review soil, slope, drainage paths, downspout discharge, and access. The plan can address the basin shape, soil preparation, inlet, overflow path, edging, and plant layout. Material choices must suit the site's water movement and the garden's care needs. Our main recommendation is simple: don't choose the planting area before checking how water moves. A beautiful bed in the wrong spot can stay saturated, erode, or fail to receive enough runoff.
We review soil, slope, surface flow, downspouts, and access so the garden receives water from a workable source.
We establish the basin location, inlet, soil zone, edge treatment, and overflow path before construction begins.
We match soil preparation and plant choices to the site's moisture pattern, style, and maintenance needs.
Our design-to-build process coordinates grading, soil placement, planting, and nearby hardscape elements.
A few site details help us understand the water problem before we plan the basin.
We present the rain garden scope, basin layout, drainage work, planting plan, and construction details before work begins.
We match basin placement, soil preparation, plant choices, and overflow planning to each property's drainage needs and style.
We plan the rain garden with planting, hardscape edges, drainage paths, and nearby lighting or outdoor elements in mind.
We recently had Adam help us with two big yard projects. For our primary home we had a goal of making our property lower maintenance so Adam designed a beautiful plan to bring in character with large rocks and appropriate ground cover and plants to replace all of the grass that we took out in the front yard and he and his team replaced our backyard grass with beautiful artificial turf that looks like perfectly cut grass. We are thrilled with the results and can’t say enough about how great Adam was to work with. He was very organized, had great communication and check ins and did exactly what he said he would do, and his team of workers were so respectful of property and easy to work with. After such a great experience we had him also help re design and improve our Suncadia yard to make it fit in more with the mountain landscape. All Projects were finished ahead of deadlines for some key entertaining events we had planned!

Water collects beside a home after rain, and the owner wants a planted solution. The key issue is whether the proposed basin can receive runoff without sending water back toward the foundation. We review the downspout path, slope, soil, and overflow route before recommending a location and requesting a quote.
A low lawn area stays soft and difficult to use, so the owner is considering a rain garden. The plan must balance water storage, plant selection, access, and the surrounding lawn or patio. We inspect the drainage pattern and discuss how much planted area and ongoing care fit the property.
Mulch and soil move downhill whenever runoff crosses an existing planting bed. A rain garden may help, but the inlet and overflow route must control the flow first. We examine the slope, identify the water source, and plan soil, edging, and plants around that movement.
